Would my car just die after replacing the distributor and ignition module, Ford Fairmont 93 ED,?

just bought a ford,i degreased the motor and after hosin off it wouldnt start, finally got it started after replacing the distributor and ignition module, it started for about 5 mins then died down the road its cranking but will not start, does this sound like the coil is stuffed??? im seriously lost
