1993 Honda Accord Problem! please help!?

so 4 days ago I was driving on E (empty) and my car completely shut down on me, I was able to start it back up and was really close to A gas station. but as I drove there the car began to jump or putt like it wasn't getting enough power, after I put gas it continued to do this. The man at the gas station told me it could be a dirty air filter..I got this changed and still same problem, then I had the spark plugs renewed and the distributor cap and rotor also and still no luck what can this be?
