99 pathfinder timing belt?

The engine makes four strokes to complete the cycle, so there are two times that the #1 piston is at TDC. Once for the compression stroke and once for the ignition stroke, so you may be lined up but 180 degrees off. Pull the distributor up and out, then bring the engine back around to TDC an drop it back in. Too many times i have taken over a rebuild job that does not start and the thing is off 180, so i reset the distributor on the next stroke cycle and it fires.
